Antología de Macondo (Anthology of Macondo) is a three-part exploration of Gabriel García Márquez’s seminal novel One Hundred Years of Solitude. The magical realist narrative revolves around the Buendía family in the fictitious town of Macondo. This piece was developed at Centre De Creation in under a month by MA Collaborative Performance Making students from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, alongside four mixed-discipline circus artists, specialising in clown, hoop, strap, silk, rope, and handstand.
